This Privacy Policy explains how Darya LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you access or use the Lyka Learning website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Lyka Learning is a US-only educational web application designed for use by parents or legal guardians and authorized student users ages 13 to 17.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope and Eligibility
Lyka Learning is intended only for users in the United States. Accounts may be created only by adults age 18 or older. Student users must be between 13 and 17 years old and may use the Service only through an account created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, we will delete that information and may suspend or terminate the associated account.

- Student profile information, such as age range, grade level, and subject-related settings
- Communications you send to us, such as support requests or account-related messages
B. Student Learning Information

3. How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Process subscriptions, payments, renewals, and account administration
- Personalize learning experiences and generate educational responses
- Review performance trends and improve response quality, model behavior, and platform functionality
- Respond to support inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and business
We do not use personal information for third-party advertising, and Lyka Learning does not display third-party ads.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only basic cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service, such as session cookies and authentication-related cookies. These technologies help keep users signed in, maintain session integrity, and support core security and functionality.
We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies or advertising cookies. If we add analytics or similar tracking tools in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide additional notice.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription, payment information is processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems. We may receive limited billing-related information from payment providers, such as payment status, billing zip code, card type, and the last four digits of a payment method, as needed to administer subscriptions and customer support.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertising partners, data brokers, or marketing partners. We do not share student data with schools or teachers through the Service.
We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: With vendors and infrastructure providers that help us host, operate, secure, and support the Service, such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, communications, and payment providers
- Legal and safety reasons: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, enforce our agreements, or protect rights, property, and safety
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, or sale of all or part of our business or assets
Any service providers that process personal information on our behalf may access it only as needed to provide services to us and subject to contractual restrictions where applicable.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information while an account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Student performance data and AI conversation logs may be retained while the account is active to operate and improve the Service. After account closure, we will delete or de-identify student data, including AI conversation logs and performance data, within 90 days, unless a longer retention period is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, payment-related recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
When we de-identify data, we may retain and use it in de-identified form for analytics, product improvement, research, and service development.
8. Parent and Guardian Rights
Because parent or guardian account holders control accounts used by student users, parents and legal guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with their student user by contacting us at [support email].
If you close your account, we will begin the deletion or de-identification process described in Section 7, subject to any lawful retention obligations.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Lyka Learning is hosted using cloud-based infrastructure made available through Replit and related service providers. Depending on the technical environment, this may include managed application hosting, database, storage, and related infrastructure services used to run the Service.
10. Email Communications
We may send transactional or service-related emails, such as account verification messages, receipts, billing notices, password reset emails, support communications, and important updates about the Service or this Privacy Policy.
We do not currently send marketing or promotional emails.
11. No Third-Party Ads
Lyka Learning does not display third-party advertising, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
12. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access to, deletion of, or correction of certain personal information, or the right to appeal certain decisions. We will evaluate and respond to such requests in accordance with applicable law.
To make a privacy request, contact us at [support email]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated policy on the Service, updating the Effective Date above, and, where appropriate, notifying account holders by email or through the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
